In the spring we watch as a rose rises from the earth,
As it is born it grows in strength to live,
Or the world around it will kill it.
As is the saying among elves,
"To live in unison, or not to live at all."

As winter comes on, the rose losess it's beauty
But not yet does it die,
It simpally goes to sleep.

Then once more in the spring,
It rises from the ash.
To fill our blatent morning with hope.
The candle in the dark.

Many years we watch the cycle flow,
Till the river becomes, no more.
With that we watch it's beauty eternal,
Fade from this world.
However subtle.

You see Shalafi, we all watch things,
People and nature alike,
Die before our eyes like the vision that you see.
